This kids strawberry gardening kit is offered by the brand Gardening.org. The mission of gardening.org is for everyone to experience the joy of gardening. The goal of this project is to support Gardening.org’s mission by making a kit that is accessible to kids. My kit is affordable, easy to use, and has a cheerful design, making it a great choice for kids. This kids strawberry gardening kit contains 1 insert with instructions and tips for how to grow the strawberries and 1 activity booklet to help kids learn about how strawberries grow. The booklet has space for kids to draw pictures and take notes on their strawberry plant as it grows. The kit also includes 4 stickers, 1 planter, 1 strawberry seed packet, and 1 disk of growing medium. I used Adobe Illustrator to create all the illustrations used throughout this project. I laid out the insert and booklet in Adobe InDesign. I laid out the seed packet and box in Adobe Illustrator. I sourced the mock-ups from Adobe Stock and edited them in Adobe Photoshop to better fit my project’s needs.
